Our research showed a decrease in activities linked to exploration that suggest fewer mental stressors. This includes the potential drop in cortisol gene expression, often called the “stress hormone", suggesting a relief of fear and anxiety.

Long used in traditional herbal medicine across Asia and Africa as a natural remedy for calming the mind and restoring balance to the body.

Our research observed anxiety-reducing effects, with evidence suggesting stress relief and a sense of calm through GABA receptor inhibition—indicating potential to ease tension and support emotional well-being.

Black Carrot Leaf

Black Carrot Leaf

A rare botanical known as “black ginseng” in Okinawa, the leaf of the black carrot is a traditional remedy in both Chinese and Persian medicine, believed to support spleen function and promote natural diuresis.

Our research observed stress-reducing properties, supported by the upregulation of hormone receptors associated with mood balance. These findings suggest enhanced feelings of happiness and satisfaction, along with overall support for stress relief and emotional well-being.
